The General Overwhelmingness of Life

Oops, didn't realise it had been quite so long since I blogged, blaming it on suffering from the general overwelmingness of life. Edited Highlights!;

Saw Lenny Henry in Othello last night;good but very long and couldn't find anywhere nice to eat in Cov on my blinking birthday. Also saw Richard Dreyfuss in a terrible play last month, which made me wish I had read this review first, but probably would've gone anyway I guess.

Saw an amazing play at the lovely Almeida; In Dark House, dark subject but definitely not depressing. Colin Firth & David Tennant were amongst various actors in the audience, Colin Firth's wife is stunning, supernaturally so. Trust this to be the day that I discover the last train home to Rugby leaves Euston at 9.45pm, just made it, but would have preferred to loiter in the bar after the show. Expect they were all off to Soho House/Groucho club anyway!
Off to eat at deliciously at the Olive Branch on Monday, meeting friends who are on their way back from York to Cambridge, and to walk off lunch after.

Otherwise busy decorating and painting the house strange colours. Friends think I am weird, but I have it all in my head, it is like a moodboard. Want this rug! Wondering if I can ask for it for a wedding present....
